RegisteredStolen is committed to providing a safe, respectful, and lawful platform for all users. This Acceptable Use Policy outlines what is and isn't permitted when using our Service. Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, or legal action.
The following types of content are strictly prohibited and will be automatically rejected or removed: illegal items (drugs, weapons, explosives, counterfeit goods); hateful, discriminatory, or violent content; spam, scams, phishing attempts, or malware; child sexual abuse material (CSAM); human remains or body parts; live animals; hazardous materials; identity documents (passports, driving licences, etc.); recalled or banned products; and content promoting terrorism or extremism.
Submitting a false report of a lost or stolen item is a serious violation of this policy and may constitute a criminal offence in many jurisdictions. Consequences include immediate account suspension and deletion, forfeiture of any paid boosts or subscriptions with no refund, reporting to law enforcement where appropriate, and potential civil liability for damages caused by false reports. If you believe a listing is a false report, please report it through the item page or contact us.
The following behaviours are prohibited: threatening, abusive, or harassing messages to other users; repeated unwanted contact after being asked to stop; doxing (publishing private information about another person); impersonating another person or organisation; and stalking or intimidating behaviour.
The following are prohibited: unsolicited marketing messages or advertisements; SEO spam or keyword stuffing in listings; creating multiple accounts to manipulate the platform; artificially inflating listing views, sightings, or checks; and using the Service to promote unrelated products or services.
RegisteredStolen reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy, without prior notice. For illegal content (including CSAM, weapons, or drugs), accounts will be terminated immediately with no warning. There are no refunds for boosts or subscriptions if your account is terminated for policy violations.
If you encounter content or behaviour that violates this policy, please report it immediately. You can use the 'Report' button on any item listing or message, or contact us directly at hello@registeredstolen.com. We investigate all reports and typically respond within 24 hours.
