RegisteredStolen.com is a free global registry for lost and stolen items. The Service allows users to register items they have lost or had stolen, check items before purchasing, report sightings, and communicate with item owners through secure messaging. The core registry service is and will always remain free to use.
By using the Service, you agree to: provide accurate and truthful information in all listings; not submit false, misleading, or fraudulent reports (this may constitute a criminal offence); not harass, threaten, or abuse other users; comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws; not use the Service for any commercial spam or unsolicited marketing; and maintain the confidentiality of your account.
Your use of the Service is governed by our Acceptable Use Policy. Prohibited content includes weapons, drugs, counterfeit goods, hazardous materials, and content that promotes hate or violence. Please review our full Acceptable Use Policy for details.
You retain all ownership rights to content you submit to the Service, including photos, descriptions, and identifiers. By submitting content, you grant RegisteredStolen a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, distribute, and use the content within the Service for the purpose of operating and improving the registry. Publicly listed items will be visible to all visitors of the Service.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. RegisteredStolen does not guarantee the recovery of any lost or stolen items. We are not responsible for disputes between users. To the maximum extent permitted by law, RegisteredStolen shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RegisteredStolen, its operators, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
RegisteredStolen reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy, without prior notice. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, but provisions that by their nature should survive (including Limitation of Liability and Indemnification) will remain in effect.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify registered users by email of material changes. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
